Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At William Penn Middle School, we love our students and love to celebrate them. We also understand that not all of our students get to have their birthdays celebrated because of family finances.

We would like to celebrate all of our students' birthdays to help them feel special and loved by their school family.

We care very much about our students and want them to know how much. It is important to our school that all of our students feel they belong and are valued by the staff.

We want to be able to provide them with a sweet treat to make their birthday as sweet as it can be. Since we are also a place of learning, we want to give them a pencil to help them be prepared for class. We also hope that by offering this small gift to them on their birthdays that they will want to come to school on their birthday, which should improve our attendance.
