My Students

My students are wonderful children who are in need of love and affection. My goal is to help our students be confident in their learning and my passion for teaching them. Many of our students live in poverty. Ninety-three point four percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Our goal is to be sure they feel loved and supported when they are at school and provide them with a safe and comfortable environment for learning.

Our students truly appreciate when others donate materials and believe in them. Thank you in advance!

My Project

I am requesting hands-on tools for my second-grade students. These tools will benefit some of the students with sensory needs in my class. One of those tools is the kinetic sand. This tool could also be used as a reward for students who are demonstrating good behavior. Another tool that will greatly help my class is the sequencing kit. This is a specific area 2nd graders focus on. This will be a great way to add hands-on fun to their writing practice. Other tools I have asked for are the active mats and ring toss! These will be fun items to contribute to learning lessons and to get the students up and moving. I plan on having question cards that go with each color of ring pegs and whichever they toss the ring on is the color of question card they get. As for the activity mats, I plan on spreading these out on the gym floor or the ground on the playground and at each mat having review questions they must solve and then do the activity shown on the mat. With your help, the second graders in my classroom will be able to have tools they do not have access to currently. We appreciate all your help!
