My Project

All students learn differently. However, it is always helpful to have hands-on manipulatives to help them physically work out what we are learning. In class, we are always doing something hands-on. We aim to make learning fun! These manipulatives will be very helpful when learning new concepts in our second-grade class. I have noticed that I can learn better during small groups when combined with visuals, which are educational games. The math manipulatives will be used for counting money and fractions tiles. By providing hands-on manipulatives, such as fraction tiles, students can visualize abstract concepts and develop a deeper understanding of these fundamental mathematical principles. Learning becomes interactive and engaging, leading to improved retention and comprehension. The beaker and safety goggles will be used during science experiments. These safety goggles would keep my students safe from chemicals, make investigations more fun, and make students more engaged and excited about our experiments.
