My Students

First grade is such a fundamental year for students! I teach 23 6&7-year-old students! They are such excited learners! We have such a diverse class of learners! We have students working on reading A-level books to students reading M leveled books. We strive to keep them interested and goal-oriented no matter where they are at in their learning.

Our favorite saying in our class is, "It's okay to not know, but it is not okay to not try." Students love to celebrate with each other on all their accomplishments and encourage each other on the way to their goals.

My Project

Hello! Help give my learners hand on experience! After a year of virtual learning we are excited to be in the classroom and use fun tools. We will learn to lots of skills by using magnetic shapes, building straws, and magnets.

Magnatiles are great for science, math, and creativity.

It helps students explore early problem-solving, sharing, communication, collaboration, and other skills that they will use throughout their life. I believe these supplies will foster a love of math and science learning as well as incorporating FUN! Thank you for your support!
