My Project

Hands-on learning is essential to student learning and development and STEM is the backbone of our society! Providing students with materials to encourage them to learn through doing is vital to helping our world grow and to the development of new technology.

With the materials provided in this project, my goal is to encourage my students to be critical thinkers.

My students will use these materials to build projects that help them solve problems. The task cards will provide students with the problems to solve, that they can complete in their independent time, the materials requested will be organized in the requested cases. With the robotics kit, students will be able to take their knowledge of circuits and how to make them complete and apply that to making a robot go. The remaining materials will help students have an assortment of materials that can be used and re-used to limit waste.

The students in my class are curious and creative and it is so important that they continue to nourish these qualities and apply them in areas that will help them succeed in their future!
