My Project

COVID-19 has severely affected students' ability to perform hands-on STEM experiments that involve problem-solving and learning.

Students will use:

Pencils for observations.

Paper clips, rubber bands, pipettes for Cartesian divers.

Glo Germ Gel, blacklight flashlights, AAA batteries to compare hand-washing effectiveness.

Pocket microscopes to observe life in rainwater.

Plastic cups, straws, ping-pong balls, duct tape, aluminum foil for building boats.

Baking soda, vinegar, balloons, sandwich bags for chemical reactions.

Washers, stopwatches, butcher's twine, and rulers to make pendulums.

Fruit battery kits to compare the electrical output of fruits and solutions.
