Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach in a diverse science magnet school where 17 languages are spoken throughout our population. My students come from many different backgrounds, but they all love coming to my STEAM class to learn and explore.
They love hands-on, engaging, and creative challenges where they can explore and come up with multiple solutions to real-world problems.
I must give them the necessary tools to prepare them for college and to become productive citizens in a diverse society.
My Project
Technology is advancing rapidly, and our students need to be ready for jobs that don’t even exist yet! Learning with Little Bits will help students better understand the technology and how it shapes our world.
Students will learn how to make different designs, test out different circuits, and improve their designs through Little Bits.
Even students who are remotely learning will have the opportunity to build circuits on Tinkercad’s circuit simulator. This is why my students must have access to circuits or a circuit simulator.
What is amazing about these designs is that students are not just learning how to use circuits, but they are also learning how to come up with solutions to real world problems. When students finally see the final project they have created, their faces light up with excitement, and they feel a new sense of pride. It is really something to see when a child learns that their ideas and designs can make a difference in the world around them.
