Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our sensory room has become a crucial resource for the children at PS212, particularly those with sensory processing difficulties. The room provides a safe and calming environment where children can explore sensory experiences that facilitate their learning and development. However, as our student population grows and their needs evolve, we must continue to enhance the sensory room to meet their requirements adequately.

I want to expand our sensory room offerings with additional sensory bins and more ambient lighting.

These new elements will significantly enhance the sensory experiences for our children, facilitating the development of vital skills, emotional regulation, and a more interactive engagement with their surroundings.
