Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach science to about 300 students in my school. The problem is that most stuff is consumable and sometimes we need to replenish our stock or things get broken. Things included in this list are air dry clay for when my 4th graders do fossils. D batteries and battery holders are for when they use circuits to look at electricity. Spoon and forks are utilized for their plastic properties in both matter and electricity. Glue sticks and tape are always useful for pasting activities in the class. At the end of the year, we are designing cars so we could use wheel and axels. We also need a refill on measuring tapes, as they get broken easily. Lastly, dry erase markers are always helpful for quick assessments.

We need some more of these items so that we can actively participate in all the hands on activities.
