Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing little explorers, especially curious about the world around them. Many of them have special needs, which means they often interact with materials in unique and energetic ways. I love their enthusiasm and how they get excited about even the smallest discoveries even if their approach can sometimes be a bit rough.

The science tools I'm asking for will really bring their lessons to life, and importantly, they're designed to withstand heavy use.

The specimen viewers and STEM kits are sturdy and perfect for hands-on exploration by kids who might not always be gentle. These tools will let students see nature up close, learning about life cycles and how things work, even if they're handled with extra enthusiasm.

Our building brick kit is made for problem-solving and critical thinking, with pieces that can take a lot of handling. The bug discovery kit will get them excited about insects, with durable materials that can stand up to repeated, energetic use.

My main goal is to feed their natural curiosity while providing tools that can keep up with their learning style. These hands-on resources will let them explore, make guesses, and figure things out on their own, no matter how vigorously they engage with the materials.

I'm excited to see how these sturdy tools will spark their imaginations and help them grow as young scientists. They'll learn not just about science, but also important skills like being patient and asking good questions. These durable materials mean every student, regardless of their physical approach to learning, will have the chance to fully participate and discover the wonders of science.
