My Students

Our schools serve students who attend District 75 in the NYC public school system. These unique learners have moderate to severe disabilities and we take pride in individualizing our learning environments to adapt to the needs of each child. Our amazing students are incoming Kindergarteners-1st graders who have Autism or some form of an Intellectual Disability. These students have unique needs that include but are not limited to sensory processing disorders, fleeting attention spans and over-stimulatory behaviors, which makes remote learning a challenge for our special learners.

My Project

Materials such as ink will provide necessary resources to create engaging content students can use through different approaches such as worksheets and teacher created materials. Safety items such as a filter replacement for our air filter offers enhance safety measure for students who cannot wear a mask all day due to their disabilities. Engaging fine motor activities offers fine motor progression in a fun way. All of these items are very imperative and crucial to the learning of our students. Thank you for making an impact on students with special needs!
