Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from Oklahoma. We are a title 1 school. My students are very curious about the world. They are always asking new questions each day. They love activities that are hands on. My students love to explore.

In our classroom we strive to make sure each student feels important.

We want each student to feel as a part of our classroom community. A majority of my students are English Language Learners. Our classroom is one that loves our literacy groups. All the students have a love for reading.

As a teacher, I do my best everyday to reach each student on his or her level in hopes that I can create lifelong learners out of each of them

My Project

My students are eager to gain their knowledge and further their reading skills. The materials will give them the hands on learning activities they need to help further what they already know. By providing my students with hands on materials they will be able to learn with visuals. The activities will give my students the opportunity to work with their peers. If one student is struggling they are able to get help from the other student that they are working with. Many of my students are English Language Leaners and i would love to provide them with different activities to learn.
