My Project

In my French and Biology Class students are always excited about doing hands-on activities. Just like Benjamin Franklin quoted: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn”. Do you agree? I definitely agree. Students learn best by being involved, whether it is in Science class, Language class or any other elective.

My goal for this project is to make it possible for my students to do as many hands-on projects/activities to maximize their learning, while using all of these classroom supplies listed (markers, scissors, pencils, glue, poster boards, sharpeners, headphones, play-doh).

In the previous years, students have been excited designing the Eiffel Tower, Carnival masks, Family Trees (in French), cells, cell division, environment posters, enzyme posters, etc...

What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn new things every day about French culture and science facts.
