My Project

I have 19 very eager and ambitious first graders. These first graders come with varying degrees of learning. To affectively teach these students, many adaptations are made throughout the day.

Tactile learners need to physically touch or do something in order to learn best.

Having multi-sensory learners in my classroom, I need many different strategies to help them learn. These materials will help me reach the needs of all my students. The play-doh and pop it squares will help my learners who need the physical touch to apply what they are learning. The Elkonin box white boards will help my students graph and code words and phonics skills that we are learning. The mesh zipper bags will help us keep everything organized and in its appropriate place.
