Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The school that I work at serves a variety of students who come from multiple cultural and family backgrounds. Our PreK- 5th-grade school has a diverse population. As a unique quality, our students get to experience an American Sign Language environment with our DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) program.

The students at our school love to learn, and they love being able to come to a fun, safe, caring, and learning environment.

We have a wide variety of student needs at our school. We are a Title I school that has a very high mobility rate. They find comfort in the fact that school is one of the most constant aspects of some of their lives.

My students aspire to achieve the best despite any difficult circumstances they encounter along the way. They find joy in learning and enjoy any provided learning opportunity.

My Project

This project is a hybrid of sorts! I am hoping to get materials for the distance learning portion and for the back to school return!

I would love for my students to have the hands-on math book materials for their at-home learning time and the flexible seating for their return back to school!

These materials would provide my students with physical learning materials to use while they are at home and flexible seating arrangements when they return back to school for our yellow and green phases!

All of these items would be incredible supports for my students!
