My Project

My students are curious and thrive from using hands on materials to enhance their learning. They are a group of special education students who have varying needs but can engage in learning and want to learn. I've chosen materials like magna tiles and rainbow number squares to give them different opportunities to build their math competencies while engaging them in different modalities of learning.

I intend to use the larger number line and 100's grid so my students can actively engage in math problems by jumping forward and backwards.

I want to build their skills to transfer into real world math.
