Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help kindergarten students ages 5 and 6 explore and develope math concepts such as counting one to one, more or less, shape attributes, organizing and classifying objects by characteristics.

Students will be able to use the counters and shapes to create math stories, solve problems, and explore numbers.

The clear bins will help organize the math materials and their own supplies so they can stay organized and learn how to take care of their own items as well.

I am excited to show them all the possibilities these manipulatives will bring us.
