Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very visual learners and work best when given opportunities to learn through hands-on activities. Each day they come to school eager to learn and participate. They love hands-on activities and these learning opportunities allow them to explore and investigate mathematical concepts. Through the use of technology I am best able to meet my students' needs and engage them in their learning. They are willing to take chances and be more involved in their learning when they are engaged.

My students need opportunities to build upon their math fluency and these materials will allow them to do so.

The math manipulatives will allow students to take more chances and dive deeper into their learning in a fun way. Throughout the day we build in opportunities with technology and the answer buzzers will be a great addition to our lessons.

I have seen how hands-on activities and tasks can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional resources will help us grow even more!
