My Project

The materials I have requested in this project are designed to incorporate the sense of touch into learning about numbers and counting. Children learn in many ways and it is important to have different materials available for student exploration.

Using the sense of touch can be very important to children who are learning to count, read, and write numbers.

If a student does not master these skills early in the Kindergarten school year they may struggle with math for the whole school year and beyond. I’d like to use these materials to offer my students another way to learn about numbers and counting.
