My Students

My students are inquisitive, enthusiastic young learners who are ready to explore the mathematical world around them. Many of my students benefit from hands-on learning and play experiences.

Young children learn best through the concept of play.

These experiences not only help build strong mathematical foundational skills, but life skills as well. Students will be working independently as well as collaboratively.

The materials will help students realize that learning mathematics is fun and engaging. They will carry this with them through their life.

My Project

I am requesting hands-on materials and manipulatives to help my students understand basic math concepts. Playing and exploring with dice, dominoes, stamps, and giant graphing paper will be a memorable experience in Kindergarten. It is these experiences with will stay with them and help to foster their love of learning.

Learning math through touching, feeling, playing and exploring of real life objects will connect students to abstract concepts and the real world.

Having fun and engaging mathematical activities will be an important step to help my students foster their love of learning. My students will build a solid mathematical foundation skills as well as life skills.
