Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of math manipulatives is a vital part of learning. The more students are allowed the opportunity to interact with manipulatives, the more comfortable they become with abstract mathematical concepts. In turn, students develop fluency which is an important part of the third grade. Through extended use of multiplication and division kits and rulers, students also gain needed skills such as critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving.
