This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Worksheets are a thing of the past! My students need hands-on learning centers to help them practice their phonics skills!

I teach k-2nd grade students in a special education classroom in a neighborhood public school.

My student have learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism. These students learn in a special way, and hands-on learning centers meet their needs so much more than boring worksheets do.

My Project

I have seen how much more motivated my students are when they are working on phonics skills with hands-on manipulatives and games compared to when they are doing worksheets. These hands-on letter and phonics centers will help them love to learn to read... and get excited to come to their special education classroom!

Please help give these wonderful students wonderful activities and learning centers!
