Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our elective class, students apply the knowledge they've gained in core subjects like math and English to fix and improve our school environment. Whether it’s repairing broken benches, assembling furniture, or troubleshooting technology issues, our hands-on projects give students the opportunity to develop critical problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills. This class fosters creativity, responsibility, and practical knowledge, preparing students for real-world challenges.

To continue enhancing our work, we need some essential tools and equipment.

We're requesting wireless keyboards and mice for efficient research, surge protectors and extension cords to ensure safe and reliable power, and ergonomic chairs and laptop stands to promote comfort and good posture during tasks. Additionally, a large digital wall clock and a multi-device charging station will help students stay organized and on task as they work on various repair projects.

With your support, these tools will not only help us complete repairs but also reinforce valuable lessons learned in math, English, and science. The equipment will provide the resources we need to enhance the school, apply our academic knowledge, and develop hands-on skills that will benefit students now and in the future. Your donation will directly impact our students’ learning and empower them to contribute to their school community in meaningful ways.
