This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I work with ESOL students in Baltimore City public schools. My students enjoy learning with hands on materials. Using hands on materials gets the students to talk more and practice their English skills. It creates a more informal talking situation which helps them feel comfortable practicing their English skills aloud. My goal is for students to become more comfortable in speaking and experimenting with the English Language. I work in a Title 1 school. These resources will help my students improve in their learning. Thank you for considering my class.
