My Students

My students are amazing. My students are all unique in their own way. They enjoy creativity and hands on material. They come into my classroom ready to learn. Not every one enjoys math class. They deserve more hands on manipulatives.

COVID-19 has taken my students hands on learning away.

Persistence. That is the word for this school year for my students and I. We are consistently striving to better ourselves by constantly working to find weakness, and attack them. We are growing and learning together.

My Project

Math manipulatives offer a way to speed up the learning process. They can be used simultaneously while teaching a lesson the traditional pencil and paper way. Since most of my students are SEVERAL grade levels behind in math, playing catch-up has become the norm in my classroom. I am having to re-teach the basics that are expected to be known already, which takes away from the little time I already have.

These manipulatives will give my students the extra resource to understand math.

It can help bring students to a new level. It may not help every student, but it will make math more enjoyable for all students.
