My Students

My students are a group of 16 first-grade learners in a North Las Vegas elementary school. They are eager to learn in the classroom given that the majority/ if not all of their first year in elementary school was based online.

They're excited to be given the tools they need to gain the skills needed in ELA and math.

My Project

The items I requested for my project will be used in the classroom to provide students with hands-on learning games using the technology they love and play with at home.

I requested several tablets and Osmo learning games that will allow students to learn through play in the classroom.

Students can work in small groups or independently on games that help students with mathematics, spelling, and letter/reading with a hands-on experience with physical game pieces. I would ultimately like to boost the early reading and math skills students need with hands-on learning!
