Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students thrive to learn and improve! Many of our students have chosen to work remotely during this time. Although we have a variety of technological resources for students to use, students also need materials for them to be able to have hands-on learning activities at home.

My Project

Students need to be able do hands-on science experiments at home as well as art projects. They will be able to choose which science kit interests them the most and will be able to engage with scientific kits at home. Students have a variety of technological resources to use now and spend so much time on the screen that they also need time for science play- where they learn problem solving skills.

Besides science kits, students need to have art supplies available for them at home.

Students need the opportunity to be creative and express themselves through art!
