Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a large culturally and linguistically diverse group of amazing learners, which includes TK-2nd grade levels. Our classroom environment is warm, welcoming, and student-friendly. My students are an amazing group of individuals with various abilities. Our classroom is full of students who are ready to learn and put forth great effort.

This project is all about requesting materials for experiential learning.

The crafts and sensory tools will help my students through hands-on activities, project-based interactive learning, and real-world applications. The crafts include gingerbread houses, stickers, and gingerbread house frames to bring their ideas to life and let their creativity run wild. The bags and tissue paper will be used to send the items home once they are done to show their families their masterpieces. Students will use the sensory items (chew necklaces, mini globs and groovy the glowman) to help them learn to regulate their emotions along with improving their ability to concentrate.
