My Students

This is my third year teaching Pre-K in a NYC public school. I will have 13 students in September! I will have 8 boys and 5 girls. I hope that each of them will arrive eager to learn and so excited to begin their school career. Pre-K is the beginning and I believe it is never too early to teach children how to be explorers, discoverers, and creators. It is through play that children learn best. When a student is engaged they learn and grow. I would really appreciate your support in getting these items and helping to make my students’ first school year, one to remember. I want to continue to instill a love of learning, imaginative play, and risk-taking that will last each of them a lifetime!

My Project

Children learn best through exploration and discovery. I am requesting scented markers to have my students use in the Art Center and Writing Center during our Five Senses unit. The Linking Monkeys and Vehicle Counters will provide my students with a hands on opportunity to learn numbers and counting all while having fun! The item I am most excited about is the Translucent Plastic Sensory Rings for my light table. The light table was funded earlier this summer and I think these rings will be amazing to use with it. It can be used to help my students count, search and find objects, matching games and during our Light Unit of Study. Thank you for your support in helping my class get the supplies we need for a successful year.
