Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) differentiates instruction and scaffolds to meet the needs of a vulnerable group of students with special needs and learning differences.
Most of my students have monumental challenges to overcome.
This makes learning basic concepts crucial to their educational success. Skills must be introduced, repeated, and practiced with a great deal of repetition before they are grasped and learned. Having multiple activities that teach the same skill is imperative.
My Project
This grant would provide additional hands-on activities to help students learn basic concepts such as: shapes, colors, numbers, sequencing, alphabetic awareness, and phonemic awareness skills. The activities would be used on a daily basis and would greatly benefit my students.
PPCD establishes the educational foundation for these special needs children.
Learning basic knowledge and skills in reading, math, and science compliments all future learning regardless of subject or course.
