My Project

This beautiful butterfly unit will give my children a once in a lifetime to build that amazing habitat. They will get to see with their own eyes the transformation from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly.

I want my students to be able to set up the butterfly habitat, take care of them, and release them to the wild.

I have first requested a couple books for reading and learning more about butterflies. The books are developmentally appropriate for this age of readers. I have also added the complete habitat for caterpillars and everything my students you need to have beautiful butterflies blossom in front of their own eyes.

I had also added a few stickers and supplies for art projects for students to show off their creative skills and make a tissue mosaic butterfly to hang on our classroom windows while they are studying the life of a butterfly.
