My Project

Help restock our science closet so my students can continue to do hands on life science labs! My students affectionately call me Miss. Frizzle. And while I can't take them on a magic school bus, I can bring activities to them that bring the mysteries of biology to life. Hands on labs engage all of my students at every academic and learning level. Even if they think they already know the subject, they always discover something new.

With the asked for materials students will be able to explore and visualize a variety of topics such as cellular respiration, bacterial growth, their own DNA, and genetics.

Certain aspects of these topics can be difficult for students to grasp, but by being able to do hands on experiments they gain a deeper understanding and are more likely to retain the knowledge. The most important part is that my students are having fun while learning.

Miss Frizzle I am not, nor do I have a magical school bus, but with your help we can still bring the magic to my students!
