My Project

I am writing to request help to enhance the learning experience for my high school forensic science and chemistry students through the acquisition of a white board atomic model, a fiber test kit, and a hair analysis kit.

These specific items will make a huge difference in their learning by providing hands-on tools that bring abstract concepts some clarity.

The white board atomic model will help students visualize and manipulate atomic structures, deepening their understanding of chemistry principles. The fiber test kit will enable practical investigations into textile analysis, teaching students how to identify and compare different fibers, which is an essential skill in forensic science. The hair analysis kit will allow students to explore microscopic hair examination, learning to distinguish between human and animal hair, and to analyze hair structure for forensic identification.

My goals for this project are to engage students actively in scientific inquiry, develop their critical thinking skills, and prepare them for future careers in science and technology.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and curiosity. They are eager to apply scientific principles to real-world situations, and they love it when they can engage in hands-on, real world activities.
