My students are enthusiastic and curious and LOVE being outside in nature. We have had two field trips to one of our local trails to learn about animals and plants. They love to be creative and learn through on-going projects.
I'd love to give them a hands-on project to get them excited about our upcoming plant unit.
We can compare compost and composters, learn about soil and seed germination, chart our growing plants, and cooperatively create a beautiful garden area at our school for everyone to enjoy to promote community and pride in our school.
