This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All children are special and deserve a fantastic learning experience! Pre-schoolers learn best by play and the items I’ve picked out help them learn through play and they can echo what they've heard. They also love Nursery rhymes, and reenacting them with felt pieces. This is why I've included popular nursery rhymes. They feel empowered when they can put up the felt pictures and repeat the nursery rhyme at the same time.

All children are behind in their learning because of the Covid pandemic, and this gives them a chance to learn what they weren’t able to at that time.

And I also think nursery rhymes are not being told to children at home as much as they use to be and they are very important for early learners.
