The students at my school are eager kids who want to show the world their music abilities. They come to music class ready to dance, sing, and learn whatever musical element I want them to know.
My students love music and love to share with me their favorite experiences in music.
I want to offer a virtual music room where the students can have as close to an experience as they can from their homes.
I teach at a school where many of the children receive free breakfast and free lunch. There are many students at my school who receive backpacks of food to take home over the weekend, and we also have a food pantry at our school to benefit our families once a month. Even with all the challenges that the students experience, the students come to music class eager to learn!
My Project
My school made the choice to go back to school on a remote learning schedule. My students will be on the computer learning from home. The spring semester was challenging with not having all the proper materials at home to deliver quality instruction.
This project is to help my students feel like they are in the classroom with me, learning music as if they were in the music classroom.
If my students are unable to be there with me in class, then I can use these items requested to teach and record lessons for my students without the complications of having to move my recording device when I move.
