My Project

During the school day, students need the opportunity for movement. Students take brain breaks during the day in the classroom. These sensory paths would give students the opportunity to have additional movement in the hallway. At times some students need to take a break from the classroom and these sensory paths would give them a new opportunity to calm down and get themselves ready to return to the classroom.

In addition to providing movement, these paths incorporate educational elements of numbers and letters.

The paths include different types of movements and positional words. Parts of the path include counting and number identification. There will also be parts of the path that include letters to work on letter and sound identification.
