Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is intended for all of the freshman (class of 2028). They will be celebrating Halloween and Day of the Dead and doing a fundraiser on our campus. This will included writing positive messages and selling candygrams.

Our goal is to make the students more engaged in school by giving them a chance to give Halloween grams to each other and write positive messages with the black scratch art paper.

As teachers of freshman, we are always thinking of new ways to engage our ninth graders and we think this small start into fundraising/financial literacy will help our students feel accepted by their peers and teachers.
