My Project

In my 9th and 10th grade Spanish classroom, I am committed to creating an engaging and supportive environment where my students can thrive in their language learning journey. To achieve this, I am seeking resources that will enhance both their motivation and the overall learning atmosphere. One key component of this project is providing snacks, which will serve as an extrinsic motivator for students. By rewarding their participation and efforts with snacks, I aim to encourage active involvement in class activities and foster a positive, energetic atmosphere that drives their desire to learn.

To further improve the learning environment, I am requesting smart lights for our classroom.

These lights will allow us to create different lighting settings that can enhance focus, reduce stress, and create a welcoming space conducive to learning. The ability to adjust the lighting will help set the mood for various activities, whether it’s a calming setting for reflective writing or a brighter ambiance for lively group discussions. By transforming our classroom with smart lights, I hope to make it a place where students feel comfortable, focused, and inspired to engage deeply with the Spanish language.

Additionally, I am seeking poster paper and an electric keyboard duster to support our classroom’s daily needs. The poster paper will be essential for collaborative projects and visual learning activities, allowing students to create and display their work proudly. The electric keyboard duster will help maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring that our technology remains in good working condition. These resources, combined with the snacks and smart lights, will significantly enhance the overall learning experience for my students, helping them to stay motivated, engaged, and ready to excel in their Spanish studies.
