Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic and excited to learn! Many are bilingual and some are transitioning to the English language from Spanish. They all work as a team and help each other navigate fourth grade with a great attitude. My students are caring and funny. They see the bright side of life and their can-do attitude motivates me to teach them with enthusiasm. Many are transitioning to in-person learning after spending part of 2nd grade and all of the 3rd grade online. Their eyes show so much excitement even when wearing a mask.

My Project

Since the beginning of the Pandemic, our school and school district LOCKED all water fountains and replaced them with water bottle FILLING stations. Students need their own refillable bottles in order to drink water during the school day. They get thirsty throughout the day and especially after Physical Education class. These bottles will be personalized for each student. They can fill them at home or school. Please help me keep these students hydrated and healthy in a safe way. These bottles are washable and can hang on their belt or backpack.
