My Project

My students have an awareness for the homeless people and

the families that they see in the neighborhood. They want to do something about it . In the spirit of giving they will team up for their older brothers and sisters to make care packages to donate to people they see sleeping in the street. The rest will be donated to a downtown Miami-Dade homeless center.

Our local Education Fund supplies us with some supplies like wipes,hand sanitizer, plastic bags and paper products. The students and their older siblings will add to the supplies from this project along with the other supplies to make bags to help people that are homeless. This will encourage compassion as they learn about the spirit of giving.

People will sooner aid a sick dog lying on the sidewalk than to try to find shelter for a sick person. It’s too much to deal with. – written by -Michael Zaslow. We need to help both animals and people!
