H. Elementary Camp Spark - Going Looney at the Hill!
Help me give my students an awesome Spring Break Camp! In order to get our scholars to particpate in various events, we have to bribe them a little with snacks and prizes!

My Students
My campus is located on the northeast side of Houston, Texas! 90% of my students come from homes where they aren’t exposed to things outside of their neighborhood. Daily the administration team and I seek to inform them about things that could help change their perspective of life and give them hope for a better future. We do this by introducing them to various books, social studies topics, projects, and more. I addition to their lack of external experiences, many students at my campus struggle with reading and language arts. This deficit makes students perform low in other academic areas. Due to the lack of parental involvement at home, and the thought that some parents agave education gaps and language barriers; H. is the one place where they get to learn and grow academically. It’s my goal to continue to prove quality education for these scholars and help increase their love for school!
My Project
This Spring Break H. Elementary will be hosting Camp Spark. Camp Spark will be held March 14-16th, and in order to get students there, we have to promise them a good time! So this spring break I would like to fill their bellies with snacks and give them the opportunity to win prizes that range from snack bags to basketballs. Getting the students to buy into the camp will allow them to receive an additional 18 hours of enrichment during their break. This participation will help increase the students reading and math skills.
