Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some students lack interpersonal skills because they haven’t experienced the benefits of team sports.

They will learn how to cheer for each other, how to challenge each other and respect their opponents.

I can teach them the skills of teamwork, unselfishness, sportsmanship, running, throwing, cheering and support for one another.

By contributing to this project you will aid in the growth of these amazing students. They desperately need alternate ways of building language skills and these sports games will provide it by allowing them to interact with each other, solve problems as teammates by reasoning, and develop a foundation of team sports. They will use this equipment to play games safely. They also will learn how to throw and catch a ball correctly.

Our school is committed to providing a safe, child-centered environment that offers students the maximum opportunity to learn and achieve academic success. Our mission is to help our students acquire literacy and become critical thinkers through a curriculum that is rich, balanced, and aligned with performance standards.
