My Project

Help me give my students a rug as the gift of their own personal space for our carpet time! In first grade, we spend a lot of time learning on our classroom rug, it is where we start and end our day, but our current spacing method is not ideal. We currently are using carpet markers to establish our personal spots and encourage spacing between students, but they have been vacuumed up, torn apart (both accidentally and intentionally), and even made it all the way across the school from being stuck to students! We would love to have a rug with built in, established spacing for students to have their ideal space for learning, along with a vacumm and grippers for maintenance. We are so thankful for your consideration in donating to our classroom for my amazing students and many more to come!
