Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a diverse classroom setting in which I try to welcome and embrace all cultures! I would like to give my students the tools needed in order to learn about a culture that they may not know a lot about.

Your generous donation will help me to bring this project to life and help my students learn more about cultures around the world!

After learning about Lunar New Year through videos and readings, students will be creating lanterns that can be brought home to share, and receiving a red envelope filled with a good luck coin and chocolate coins to share with others. Red is the color of good luck so all projects will embrace this! Please help me to create this memory for my students!
