My Students

Musician, educator, and composer Zoltan Kodaly stated: "Real art is one of the most powerful forces in the rise of mankind, and he who renders it accessible to as many people as possible is a benefactor of humanity." (1954). Please help make guitar education accessible at my school. We need tuners!!

We are a magnet high school located in California.

The students are talented and highly motivated. Many come from challenging financial situations. Please help me to provide them with the highest quality guitar music education possible- they deserve it!

My Project

These wonderful clip-on guitar tuners will save us valuable classroom time. This will expedite our tuning, and we will be able to start playing guitar much sooner during our daily lessons. It will empower the students to become more self-sufficient in music class, and learn to satisfactorily tune their own guitars. Right now, the class tunes 43 guitars with 2 tuners. Please help us to make this process more efficient!

In 1929, Zoltan Kodaly wrote: "Teach music and singing at school in such a way that it is not a torture but a joy for the pupil; instill a thirst for finer music in him, a thirst which will last for a lifetime.

" Guitar classes are a fantastic opportunity to instill this love of music. Please contribute to this project to help our high school continue to build and fortify our guitar music education program.
