Learning to read can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. By learning certain letter-sounds and patterns, students can decode the words on the page more accurately and build fluency to make their reading sound smooth and natural.
Decodable books that focus on building upon students reading skills following their developmental progression will help students not only become proficient readers, but master their grade level goals to become skilled and lifelong readers.
My kindergarten students are eager to learn and so excited about the progress they're making. Access to these books will ensure they continue to grow in order to move up to first grade.
