My Students

My students are intelligent, insightful, compassionate, loving, funny and the best students a teacher can ask for. 96% of students in my school are in living in poverty. I have students that are English language learners and students with special needs. I want them all to have the basic's to be successful in their learning.

My Project

These materials will be used to provide guided reading during distant learning. We will be using the plexiglass dividers to conduct small group instruction while remaining safe. It has been challenging to provide students with one to one support since they have to be 6 feet apart. The paint and canvases will be used to complete arts and crafts projects that we have not been to do because we did not have the resources. My students are already behind in reading and writing because of COVID so I want to support them to be on grade-level.
