Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a guidance counselor with a diverse population of students ranging from honors, special education, and English language learners who come from many different cultural backgrounds and educational needs. We are a Title I school which means that students come from many different social and economic circumstances. I work with students from grades six through eighth and meet with several weekly. My students has been hit very hard by this pandemic.

Basic supplies are the key to success in the classroom!

In order to continue the school year with success, we need some supplies to help us be successful! These basic supplies will be a huge help to my students to have the supplies they need to start off the school year right. The thermal pouches will be used to laminate key documents and papers needed for my students. The permanent markers and labeler will be used to label our supplies and items to keep them safe in the office. Many students come to me and ask for a pencil since they do not have one for the school day and I want to provide one for them daily!
