This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is a world language class for first-year students. Students need to practice their listening skills and imitate speaking skills with individual headphones. Students can be more open to practicing speaking and listening when working on tasks. During the class, students will listen to an audio file and answer the questions. They also need to record their speaking to make sure the pronunciations are correct.
We also have some English learner students who are embarrassed to practice in front of everybody.
The headphone sets will help them overcome the embarrassment. We are also in need of hot glue gun glue sticks.
